Week 2 of ClimbDTU

This was an important week for our mentor-ship program in which our mentor Spandan Gurha guided us about each and every aspect of resume building and interview preparation.

Starting from telling her own experience to get into Microsoft GSMO to guiding about how to build a perfect CV, she covered it all. Talking about different stages of an interview and then discussing each of them in detail was really appreciable. Keeping in mind the importance of guesstimates and case studies in a non tech interview, several resources were shared by her on the group. Also she tried to make us familiar with the way to approach for off campus internship through LinkedIn and intershaala.com and also advised us to explore as much as we can. A brief idea of how GD’s and PI’s takes place during the whole interview process was also discussed.

By the end of the week we participated in a case study competition organised by NSS DTU in which Ma’am was constantly advising us on how to proceed with the work and helped us to look on every aspect of the problem statement. In a nutshell, it was amazing experience and looking forward for the next week to get more GYAN…..
